Our Background

At Ceciyaa Foundation we define poverty as a result of hopelessness; we believe all things work together with HOPE to address this mission GOD has given us. We define and resolve to address and include separation from:

  • Hunger
  • Sickness
  • Ignorance
  • Nakedness
  • Low self esteem

Our Vision

Ceciyaa Foundation’s vision currently implements three vehicles with multiple engines:

  1. Evangelism
  2. Education
  3. Economic Empowerment

Evangelism

Our PRINCIPLE in EVANGELISM is: “DESERVE BUT DEPRIEVED”

Evangelism is conducted to educate the people as to how to repent and receive renewal of their minds, bodies, hearts and souls through repentance and acceptance of everlasting life in Jesus Christ. We help our Brothers and Sisters to understand that GOD has provided for their every need and they deserve more than poverty and hopelessness. We share with them that they are the front line in defense against deprivation. We share that they can deprive themselves due to lack of education and that they deserve to live in hope. We use evangelism activities which encourage and lead them to employment.

Our priority mission is to educate the poor and the future leaders of GHANA with the realization and divine understanding that we cannot do anything without GOD. Our faith is in Christ Jesus, yet we do not discriminate against other religions. We are united against all poverty and hopelessness.

Currently, Ceciyaa Foundation partners with a few churches that are actively farming under this evangelism principle.

Education

Our PRINCIPLE in EDUCATION is: “POSSIBILITIES OF PROSPERITY UNDER PROGRESSIVE PERFORMANCE”

Therefore our mission to educate the poor and future leaders of GHANA is integrated with ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT through education and evangelism. Throughout the world, the best schools reside with the best jobs and directly relate to the economic status of the people. Ceciyaa Foundation operates in all 10 regions of GHANA, recognizing that we cannot separate EDUCATION from ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT and EVANGELISM. We affirm that education in combination with evangelism propagates and proves EMPLOYMENT is EMPOWERMENT. All practical employment accessibility is our pursuit. We affirm that EMPLOYMENT is EMPOWERMENT.

Because our main mission is EDUCATION, we have various engines within this vehicle. Through Ceciyaa Foundation’s NATIONAL READERS ASSOCIATION, which drives our EDUCATION to all communities, our goal is to place books along with reading and writing materials and supplies into the hands of all children under 10 years of age, particularly in the rural communities. Providing access to free, accessible quality education.

Through books and education, we seek to empower individuals to employment in farming as much as possible. Our “READ TO FISH” and “READ TO FARM” education mission models are currently established and accessible within communities in all 10 regions of GHAHA. Wherever we READ with them, READ for them, READ to them, we must establish ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT there as well as teaching the Word of GOD.

Ceciyaa Foundation regularly conduct events addressing health screening and health education talks with these communities as well as assessing and addressing the critical social education, respective to the individual community needs.

A unique component of our mission under EDUCATION is to seat all children in schools in GHANA over the next five years. This initiative is driven purely by COMMUNITY through COMMUNITY SPONSORSHIP. Ceciyaa Foundation has and makes accessible to communities two chainsaws that are traveling, roaming through GHANA, to accomplish this mission to completion.

Each community provide the trees, Ceciyaa Foundation performs the work with participation and assistance from their community and donors. Our goal is to renew their mindsets and believe in our foundational PRINCIPLE: “POSSIBILITIES OF PROSPERITY UNDER PROGRESSIVE PERFORMANCE”

Economic Empowerment

Our Principle in ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT is: “RESPONSIBILITY FOR OPPOURTUNITIES”

Ceciyaa Foundation understands education is critical to ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT. Within our vehicle of ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT, we have a philosophy and ideology called “GHANA FOR GHANA” (G4G).

G4G means we believe that GHANA has every resource available TO RAISE MONEY IN GHANA FOR MISSIONS IN GHANA, eliminating dependency on individual donors and charitable donations.

G4G IS A NON-POLITICAL POLITICS. This vehicle takes advantage of a FREE DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY WITH HARMONIOUS COMMUNAL ATTITITUDE AS SEEN IN ALMOST ALL COMMUNITIES, ALL OVER GHANA.

For example, the current practice for many individuals in most communities is to gather to mourn the dead in large numbers, even without invitation. The church can come to gather for all nights. The community comes together for weddings, outdooring and other celebrations. G4G underscores that the same community members can come together for something progressive for the development of their community.

G4G identifies four stakeholders in each community. These are the Community Leaders, the Church, the School and the Individual Citizens. G4G believe that one of these stakeholders has to be responsible for the development of their community. Our ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT tactics therefore insist on training and educating these stakeholders to take charge and be responsible.

Our Principle in ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT is: “RESPONSIBILITY FOR OPPOURTUNITIES”

Another engine with ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT is “BRICK IN THE SEED”. We cannot plant cement or iron rods, but we see brick and metal pillars in each seed we plant. We encourage each community to join us to plant seeds, as many seeds as we can, so that we can build strong community foundations as we harvest.

Our “with ME for YOU” within our G4G model is used in this “POLITICS”. Ceciyaa Foundation must be with them from the beginning right through to the end of the project.

Our concept of leadership at Ceciyaa Foundation deploys Decentralization Leadership. We develop local leaders and EMPOWER them to manage, supervise and report to zonal Leaders among them. Our centralized team periodically visit, motivate and mentor the Leaders in these communities.

Ceciyaa Foundation is saturated in logistics. To date, we have shipped and successfully cleared through customs thirteen (13) 40 foot shipping CONTAINERS filled with:

  • Clothes
  • Shoes
  • Notebooks
  • Medical Supplies, etc.

All items shipped are used for our missions. Our hope and prayer is to be transformed to become a LOGISTICAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION.

We are working diligently, in hope and prayer, to become the definitive providers and complete access hub of a spectrum of services required and needed for every NGO, both LOCAL and INTERNATIONAL to facilitate their respective missions in GHANA including and ranging from:

  • Financial Subsidiaries
  • Catering
  • Housing
  • Clothing (Laundry)
  • Transportation
  • Donation of items and all other needs

Our goal at Ceciyaa Foundation is to make all mission engagement activities, events, crusades and celebrations more convincing, compelling and attractive.

Our goal is to facilitate and reduce the total cost of mission trips, creating and providing an accessible, thriving resource hub, making it possible for all who are willing to come and help GHANA and SEPARATE HUNGER FROM POVERTY.

Ceciyaa Foundation believes that one day all food and lodging will be fully covered, equipped and resourced by Ceciyaa Foundation for all NGOs who register with us.

This background and vision moving forward, is who Ceciyaa Foundation currently is, what we desire to become and describes how we are actively working to become in the near future.

Ceciyaa Foundation believes that THIS IS POSSIBLE, IT IS POSSIBLE IN JESUS’ NAME and so we say, “IS NOT TRUE THAT WE ARE LOST OR POOR.” We say, “ENYE NOKWARE!” JESUS IS LORD IN OUR VISION to SEPARATE HUNGER FROM POVERTY through every one of our missions and goals, HE IS GOD!
