One of the main causes of sickness and disease in many rural communities in Ghana is the lack of clean drinking water. The Water Well Project gives donors in America the opportunity to join in the fight against the spread of diseases by building water wells in rural communities. $750 covers the cost, including materials and labor, of building one well. The cost is so small when compared to the lives which will be saved and or changed by the installation of just one well.
